Today I’m grateful for living in this beautiful part of the country! I loved living in London but moving back to the East Sussex just felt right. We are so lucky to have beautiful the countryside as well as the sea and beaches right there! I ended up having to take the long way around to work yesterday but when I then had this as my view how could I complain?!
It was amazing! 😊 Now I can't find the words to describe how cool was it to walk on those cliffs (to tired 😅 I can't move 😅) but if you are in UK, I will recommend you to go to this edge of the world 😉 #cliffs #eastbourne #hiking #sea #beautifulplanet #lovesea #vitaminsea #ontheedge
Witch or queen? :: High up on the Downs, by the sea, where I live, the sky can be this blue without filters, but the wind can be fierce. :: The wind is so powerful the tree that survives bends to thrive. Her branches stream like hair blowing in the very wind that shapes her, forever echoing in her branches. :: But she stands tall. :: Her roots are deep and strong. Around her is a skirt of ivy, supporting other plants and creatures. :: Her beauty is not in her appearance. It’s in her strength, in her resilience, in her support of others, in her deep-rooted steadfastness. :: We live in a culture that reflects visions of beauty that promise youth. As we grow past our 30s we hear over and over that our value is waning, in every media image that idealises youth, that tries to sell us a taste of what we used to be. That tells us that our changing body should be ‘fixed’. Nipped and tucked here, plumped up there. :: But what could be more beautiful than being a powerful, deeply rooted resilient soul flourishing in your environment. :: No matter how strong the wind. :: So, witch or queen? Or both? What do you think? Pop your answer in the comments below now! 👸🏻🧙🏻♀️#selflove #seeyourself #beyourself #loveyourself
