Relationship you have with yourself is a foundation for all of your other relationships. When you have a grounded, loving, beatiful relationship with yourself, where you lovingly push yourself, respect yourself, stand up for yourself, take care of yourself - that is exactly the kind of relationships you will have with others, because that will be your standard. However, if you’re hating yourself, thinking you’re fat, ugly, need to achieve a certain number to be worthy, you risk ending up in relationships that reflect your own feelings about yourself; relationships where you won’t feel worthy. Not only that, but - if you don’t love yourself, how will you ever believe anyone else who claims to love you? Trust me, I’ve been there - there’s no way in hell you’ll ever be able to believe another human being when they say you’re beautiful, you’re a wonderful person & that they love you until YOU think you’re beautiful, wonderful & lovable. You can crave love all you want, but you’ll be blind to it till you love yourself fully & unapologetically. Only when you have a beautiful, loving relationship with yourself can you expect to build beautiful, loving relationship with anyone else.
